Healthier Laramie County Wellness Fair a Huge Success!

This was my first year coordinating the 2009 Healthier Laramie County Wellness Fair, October 17th, 2009. I was so pleased when over 800 Laramie County residents attended the fair–including Senator Barasso.
Blood work results of many attenders were out of the normal range. They were then prompted to see their physcians. One individual claimed his Prostate-Specific Antigen (PSA) blood level had tripled since last year (which may indicate prostate cancer) and was very greatful for that the health fair encouraged him to get it checked–which he otherwise would not have done. What a priviledge to part of such an amazing event!

Come to the 6th Annual Wake Up to Women’s Health Conference, Saturday, November 7, 20009, 7:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. at the Holiday Inn in Cheyenne, 204 West Fox Farm Road. Registration is $20 and includes a complimentary breakfast.
