Leg Stretches–Don’t Work Out Without ‘Em

flexd_leg-21After a hard workout, don’t forget to stretch those muscles to prevent bunching and tightening.  Stretching not only loosens muscles to prevent soreness the next day, it can prevent injury by releasing muscle pull on adjacent muscles and bone.  I recommend a concentrated stretching effort at least two, if not three, days a week for 20 minutes.  Guaranteed–you will notice a difference in how you feel and perform.  Try some of these leg stretches and find your own personal favorites.  Stay tuned for upper body & trunk stretches.
