Welcome to my website!
I’m passionate about sharing with
as many people as possible the benefits of a healthful
lifestyle. As an author and speaker, as well as a health
educator, I like to help audiences find the science
behind the recommendations and ease it into practical
lifestyle changes in the areas of fitness, nutrition,
and disease prevention.

As a member of the Wyoming
Governor’s Council on Physical Fitness and Sports, and
as an American Council on Exercise Spokesperson I’ve
been able to send the message of fitness/wellness
everywhere!
I love to write
health/fitness-related articles for all kinds of
populations (such as for kids, 50+, women and nurses).
I’ve been quoted regularly in various magazines such as
Oxygen, Fitness and Self (see media page). I am
certified as an ACE Personal Trainer (I still train
clients) and an ACE Lifestyle and Weight Management
Consultant (I still do weight loss consulting as well).
A long time ago I graduated from
the University of Wyoming with a master’s degree in
science (exercise physiology). I worked for many years
at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center as the Wellness
Coordinator, and was able to facilitate Cheyenne
Regional’s Wellness Council of America’s (WELCOA) Gold
Well Workplace Award. Worksite wellness really does
work!
I owe everything to my awesome
family, and currently live in a little house on the
prairie in Cheyenne, Wyoming.
In addition to my books Four Weeks
to Fabulous and
4 Weeks to
Fabulous Challenge (which was distributed to the
State of Wyoming employees in October, 2011), I continue
to write books and health articles for online websites
such as NurseTogether.com and LivingBetterAt50.com
because I love it!
I love to teach Zumba®, hike,
bike, run, play tennis and strength train using the
latest and greatest fitness gadgets. I love to cook when
I have time—I hope you try some of my recipes in my
books! And be sure to blog with me to see the latest in
the happenings of fitness and health (see
my blog page)!
